One of the particular strong points of this book is that it explores in a concise and clear way how forex trading differs from other major types of trading, which is handy for anybody who’s looking to make the move from, say, share trading into forex trading. In addition, it looks at a variety of other relevant topics, such as technical analysis and fundamental analysis.
The book’s size is also an advantage: it’s long enough to delve into the world of trading in a detailed enough way, but it’s also manageable – and given that it doesn’t cause information overload, it’s particularly suited to those who don’t know much about trading already.
It should be noted, however, that the title of the book is not necessarily accurate. As the book goes on to demonstrate through the close look that it takes at tools and strategies, there’s a lot to learn and experiment with before the opportunity for regular earnings arises.
Overall, this is a good book for those who want to learn how to develop their trading skills and give themselves a good grounding in the topic, but it’s important to use it as a guide for work, rather than to assume that it will deliver guaranteed results.
